SIMONA GRAZIA DIMA

in ocna nflorit, cum roza, sa ma improaste
rafale de noroaie. Nimic din ce ar aminti
diamantul. Ce, totusi, radios, pulseaza.

Why?

The world crumbles down an affluence of light.
Why have we been brought to this glory?
For the sake of joy, for the the sake of torture?
With faces always chiseled by gleams,
We pass inscrutable, scrambling through markets.
If I were forever a child, to understand nothing neither today,
nor tomorrow, just to celebrate, for further
the requiem in gloom: for the running point
blossomed in the salt mine, for the rose to splash
blasts of slushes. Nothing from what the diamond would bring to mind.
Which, still, radiant, pulses.
